Citrus Territory

Citrus Territory is not a showcase.
Territory is permanence, friction, coexistence.

Citrus Territory emerges as a space of encounter among artists who crossed Arte Cítrica throughout its first year of existence. Not as a catalogue, not as a ranking, not as a hierarchical selection, but as an expanding collective body.

Here, works are not arranged to explain a single concept. They coexist. They converse through proximities, tensions, and detours. Each artist who passed through the magazine left more than images: they left gestures, questions, traces of time and thought. Together, these presences sketch a possible map of the contemporary art that interests us: alive, undisciplined, shaped by experience and by the urgency to exist.

This territory is also a gesture of memory. A retrospective that does not look back with nostalgia, but with attention. To revisit is to recognize. It is to perceive what was built along the way, what grew stronger in encounter, what still pulses and asks for continuity.

By bringing together all the artists who participated in the editions of Arte Cítrica during this first cycle, we affirm a clear editorial choice: to sustain spaces where living artists are seen, read, and recognized in their complexity, outside the logics of acceleration, fast consumption, or algorithmic validation. More than an archive, Citrus Territory is an invitation to permanence.

To look again. To notice what went unnoticed. To recognize unexpected affinities. To provoke encounters.

Enter without hurry.
Here, art does not display itself: it occupies space.
And time is different.
